- Jeff Johnson has joined Jackson Warewashing Systems as business development manager for the Jackson and Wareforce brands. The 30-year industry veteran has spent his career in warewashing, most recently as v.p.-sales and marketing for CMA Dishmachines. At Jackson, he’ll focus on expanding sales through the dealer market.
- Premier Restaurant Equipment, the Minneapolis-based firm that designs and equips restaurants, senior-living facilities, casinos and other foodservice venues, has installed industry veteran Ross Cohen as director of institutional foodservice. Cohen will focus on developing Premier’s senior-living practice on a broader national scale. The firm also has added Bob Kurek, a long-time industry veteran and former CEO of Superior Products, to its board of directors.
- Alexander Tappé has joined Victory Refrigeration as the company’s director of sales. He brings twenty years’ experience in the domestic and international foodservice industry to the position, including as eastern U.S. and Canada regional sales manager for Beverage-Air. Tappé will be responsible for managing Victory’s manufacturer representatives, sales through its dealer network, and building relationships with the consultant community. Victory’s regional sales managers will report directly to Tappé, who reports directly to Jennifer Ward, sr. v.p.-sales and marketing Victory is based in Winston-Salem, N.C., is part of Ali Group North America.
- Middleby Marshall’s Kitchen of the Future has been named one of the Top 100 Finalists in the 13th annual Chicago Innovation Awards. The Elgin, Ill., company’s dual conveyor-oven unit was selected out of more than 550 product submissions. The Chicago Innovation Awards celebrate the most innovative new products and services in the Chicago region across all organization sizes, sectors and industries.
