Henny Penny Advances Three Execs

Among recent organizational changes made at Eaton, Ohio-based Henny Penny were three key promotions. Rick Cartwright has been elevated to director-product development and innovation; he previously served as director-controls engineering. Cartwright will lead Henny Penny’s initiative to build a new product development and innovation engine. Specifically, he will oversee electronic engineering, project management, product development and food science.

Don Kern has moved up to the post of director-engineering from his prior post as director-quality assurance and safety. In addition to focusing on product quality, Kern also will concentrate on warranty as well as engineering, reliability, engineering services and safety.

Jeff Frymier, previously director of human resources, has been tapped as director-corporate relations. He will focus on external relations and community-development initiatives for the company and lead internal communication strategies for Henny Penny.
