FEDA Creates Rising Star Program For New Convention Attendees

Two months from now, the Foodservice Equipment Distributors Association will be hosting its 2015 Convention in Phoenix, and the association is making a concerted effort to bring in some newer, younger voices to the meeting.

FEDA is offering a new registration category aimed at encouraging its member firms to bring a “Rising Star Decision Maker” to his or her first FEDA convention.

Last year, after several members indicated it was cost-prohibitive to bring additional people to the meeting, the association created the “Rising Star” convention registration category, which provides a $150 fee reduction for a FEDA-member employee attending his or her first convention. One Rising Star fee is allowed per FEDA primary membership or paid branch membership. Instructions for registering a Rising Star employee are on the registration forms. Materials for the March 25-29 meeting at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa have been mailed; they also can be accessed at feda.com/convention.
