Standex Food Service Gets New President

Standex International Corp. announced on Jan. 26 that it had appointed Anne De Greef-Safft as group president-Standex Food Service Equipment Group. She joins Standex from Danaher Corp., where she served most recently as vice president-strategic development at Danaher Sensors & Controls.

“Anne brings proven global operations leadership capabilities to Standex FSEG at an important time for the segment,” said David Dunbar, CEO of Salem, N.H.-based Standex Int’l. “While leading multiple and diverse P&Ls during the past 12 years, Anne gained significant expertise in customer relations, driving innovation, integrating acquisitions, developing talent and enhancing operational efficiencies. Her successful experience in these areas will be valuable assets as we execute on our organic and acquisition growth strategies and implement operational improvement initiatives to enhance margin performance.”

FSEG, one of Standex’ five operating divisions, groups its business into Standex Cooking Solutions Group and Standex Refrigerated Solutions Group. Its companies include APW Wyott, Bakers Pride, BKI, Federal Industries, Kool Star, Master-Bilt, Nor-Lake, Procon, Tri-Star and Ultrafryer.

FSEG has approximately 1,500 employees, and manufacturing facilities in Ireland, Mexico, Mississippi, South Carolina, Tennessee, Wisconsin and Wyoming. In addition to the U.S. and Europe, FSEG is developing or expanding distributor relationships in Africa, Asia, Australia and South America.
