Gulfood Marks 20th Anniversary Show Next Month

Dubai, the trading hub of the Middle East, will again play host to exporters of foodservice equipment and supplies when it hosts Gulfood, Feb. 8-12 at its World Trade Centre.

Manufacturers from across the globe seeking new sales in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia exhibit their products at Gulfood, which has become the largest and one of the most important international platforms for the global foodservice industry. The UAE’s imports totaled US$3.6 billion in 2010 and are estimated to rise to US$5.5 billion this year; the majority is traded through Dubai.

Gulfood 2015 is the biggest in the show’s two-decade history. It is expected to attract more than 4,800 international companies from 120 countries and more than 85,000 visitors from 170 countries. The German Pavilion alone will host 42 German exhibitors presenting commercial kitchen equipment and catering technology as well as current trends. Among the many activities will be industry-shaping discussions and summits scheduled during a series of Gulfood Conferences. More information is at gulfood.com.
