TriMark Century Concepts And TriMark Strategic Consolidate

TriMark USA has consolidated two of its divisions, Atlanta-based TriMark Century Concepts and TriMark Strategic, into one newly combined unit.

The new entity, known as TriMark Strategic and based in Coppell, Texas, should enable the company to gain a stronger footprint in the southeastern United States. While continuing to serve local and national customers, TriMark Strategic will sharpen its focus on customers in Florida, Georgia, Minnesota and Texas, and expand new business in these markets. TriMark Strategic has 13 locations in those states and Tennessee.

“We opened TriMark Century Concepts five years ago as a greenfield operation and grew it to $27.5 million in revenue,” said TriMark USA CEO Jerry Hyman. “Since that time, we acquired TriMark Strategic, which has a strong presence in Georgia and throughout the South. Combining these two entities is the logical next step in our continued growth in this region.”

Marty Monnat will remain president of TriMark Strategic, and Scott Bishop, former president of TriMark Century Concepts, will take on an expanded role as executive v.p.-sales and marketing of TriMark Strategic. Karen McCain, CFO of TriMark Strategic, will add the responsibilities of executive v.p.-operations.

“This consolidation strengthens TriMark’s position with key customer segments and extends our reach into the Southeast,” said Monnat. “With this merger, TriMark Strategic expands its ability to offer outstanding foodservice design services, equipment fabrication, turnkey services, and project management to our customers. These two great TriMark divisions will give our national and local customers the benefit of our combined resources and expertise.”

TriMark USA, based in South Attleboro, Mass., is the country’s largest provider of equipment, supplies and design services to the foodservice industry. It reported sales of $944 million in 2013.
