Gentry Joins Paramount Restaurant Supply

Richard Gentry has joined Paramount Restaurant Supply to further develop the East Providence, R.I., firm’s growing portfolio of regional and national accounts. He brings a wealth of experience in the foodservice industry, including the past six years as a vice president at Todd Devin Food Equipment, and the previous decade as director-technical service at Aramark, the contract service provider. Gentry also has held manager, director and v.p.-level positions with McDonald’s Corp., Illinois Range Co., and H&K Dallas Inc., respectively.

Paramount CEO Marc Tell commented, “Rick’s wealth of experience and industry knowledge has already made him a key addition to the Sam Tell family. We view his appointment as the most recent sign of our commitment to being the leading company in our industry.”

Paramount is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Sam Tell Cos.; the Farmingdale, N.Y., dealership ranked 19th among FER’s 2014 Top Dealers, with 2013 sales of $53 million before the Paramount acquisition.
