Hendrix Opens Tenth Canadian Location

Hendrix Restaurant Equipment & Supplies has opened a flagship location in Toronto. The 10,000-sq.-ft. store—the dealer’s 10^th location in Canada—includes a showroom displaying supplies and equipment, a tableware gallery and a full-service professional test kitchen intended to host interactive cooking classes and vendor demonstrations.

Hendrix, helmed by President Larry Vander Baaren, held its first event in the space on April 13 when it hosted 100 foodservice professionals and vendors in the new showroom and test kitchen. The store, located at 77 Samor Road in Toronto, is open six days a week. Hendrix was founded in 1981 in Brockville, Ontario, where the company head office still is located.
