Standex Names Scott Jordan President Of Cooking Solutions Group

Standex Int’l. Corp. has promoted Scott Jordan to the office of President-Standex Cooking Solutions Group; he’ll take the reins July 1. Jordan has spent the past 3 1/2 years as president of Master-Bilt in Standex’ Refrigeration Solutions Group. Before that, he was V.P./G.M. of BKI, part of the Standex Cooking Solutions Group, for 3 1/2 years. Prior to joining Standex in 2008, Jordan spent 17 years at Rockwell Automation.

“With Scott at the helm of our Cooking Solutions Group, we get a leader with seven years of foodservice equipment industry experience, with a solid operational background and with proven ability to develop a strong vision for his teams,” said Anne De Greef-Safft, Group President-Food Service Equipment Group.

Salem, N.H.-based Standex also announced a reorganization of its Refrigerated Solutions Group. Chief among the promotions is Barb Belongia, who will lead the group’s sales efforts as the newly appointed V.P.-Sales.

Bob Bakken has been elevated to the group’s V.P.-Quality and Aftermarket Operations. A 38-year veteran of the Hudson, Wis.-based Nor-Lake Inc., he will oversee quality, service, parts, installations and application engineering. Fourteen-year Master-Bilt vet Toby Reynolds has been named Director of Strategic Sourcing with responsibility for materials and resale merchandise.

Jerry Hallstrom has been promoted to the position of Materials Manager for Nor-Lake. He assumes responsibility for purchasing functions there as well as warehouse management and logistics/freight. Kenny Owen has been promoted to the post of V.P./G.M. of Master-Bilt’s operations in New Albany, Miss. A veteran of 23 years there, Owen previously has served as v.p. for three departments there: engineering, manufacturing and operations.

Standex says it will continue its current strategy of separate sales representative organizations, brand-specific regional sales managers and brand-specific sales leadership for both brands. “This is an extremely exciting time for the Standex Refrigerated Solutions Group,” stated Group President Chuck Dullea. “I believe this new organization creates better alignment with improved communication, allowing faster decision making and improved service to our valued customers.”
