Alto-Shaam Makes Changes To Global Leadership Team

A transition has taken place in Alto-Shaam’s international business team. Mark Kreple, Senior V.P. of International Sales, has moved into a consulting role at the Menomonee Falls, Wis., company. Kreple spent 11 years leading the development and management of Alto-Shaam’s international business; he oversaw a near tripling of sales volume in global sales and the restructuring of business in Canada, as well as the expansion of sales through Alto-Shaam Germany, the establishment of Alto-Shaam China, and the addition of sales representative offices in Moscow, Manila and Mexico City.

“Mark’s leadership has strengthened our company’s business globally and has positioned us for ongoing growth,” said Alto-Shaam President/COO Steve Maahs. “Mark is a valuable resource for our company, and we are grateful for his ongoing assistance as we plan future business expansion opportunities.”

Kreple’s responsibilities have been transferred to Matthew Cottrell, Alto-Shaam’s new V.P.-International Sales. Cottrell has more than two decades’ experience in the foodservice industry, including the last two years serving as Alto-Shaam’s v.p. of international sales-Europe, Middle East and Africa. He has been responsible for the company’s business development in Germany, France and Italy, and gaining independent sales representatives and distributors for the Benelux, Russian Federation and former Eastern Bloc countries.
