Nerbonne Joins Cooper-Atkins

Robert Nerbonne has been named Executive Vice President of Cooper-Atkins Corp., the Middlefield, Conn., maker of temperature-monitoring solutions. He also has been elected to serve on the board of directors, and been named to the office of treasurer.

Nerbonne, a 30-year veteran of the foodservice industry, joins Cooper-Atkins after three years at Ali Group North America, where he oversaw Ali’s North American companies. Prior to that, he was with Enodis Corp. for eight years, including serving as president of the Americas, and was responsible for 13 Enodis companies based in North America. Nerbonne’s career started at Pitco Frialator, where he worked for 14 years culminating his tenure as president, while also serving as an officer and executive v.p. of Pitco’s then parent, GS Blodgett Corp.

“We are thrilled to have Bob on our team,” commented Cooper-Atkins President and CEO Carol Wallace, to whom Nerbonne reports. “Bob brings a renewed focus on our new product development efforts as well as providing exceptional financial and operational support to our entire team.”
