In Memoriam: Wayne Martin

Martin’s 43-year foodservice career began at General Electric Commercial Food Service, and spanned Hobart, Hussmann, BIH Food Service and W.A. Brown before he joined Muskegon, Mich.-based Structural Concepts. He retired from his self-described “dream job” there as regional sales manager in 2014.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Diane; two daughters; a grandson; his parents; and three sisters. Services were scheduled for June 30 in Matthews, N.C. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society or Weddington United Methodist Church, Weddington, N.C. More information can be found here.
