Whaley Names Area Manager For Impending Orlando Location

Sandi Halcomb has joined Whaley Foodservice Repairs as Area Manager for its new Orlando, Fla., location. Halcomb began her career in the commercial kitchen equipment parts and service industry more than 15 years ago, working under Tom Walter at NASS Parts & Service in Orlando; Walter joined Whaley earlier this year. Halcomb will focus on growing Whaley’s customer base in the central and southern Florida market.

Lexington, S.C.-based Whaley entered the Orlando market in July 2014 with one service technician, and since then has grown to employ a team of full-time service technicians. On Aug. 19, it will host the grand opening of the new Orlando branch—the company’s 16th branch. In June, Whaley opened offices in Chattanooga, Tenn. The firm’s presence in the state also includes offices in Nashville and Knoxville.
