Equipotel 2015 In São Paulo Offers 160+ Hours Of Programming

Equipotel 2015 is more than just a products and service expo. Latin America’s biggest hospitality show, Sept. 14-17 in São Paulo, Brazil, offers a wide range of content, including workshops, presentations and installations.

Attendees will learn about good market practices in addition to viewing the 1,500 brands and 80 new companies that will be at the 53rd annual edition of the show. That’s a boost from last year, which welcomed more than 55,000 visitors to see 573 exhibitors and 1,300 brands. Buyers in 2014 came from 35 countries; 60% were from Europe, 21% from South America and 8% from North America.

“Equipotel brings together various market segments, since the hospitality concept is quite broad,” said Paulo Octavio Pereira de Almeida, V.P., Reed Exhibitions Alcantara Machado. “This is why we have sought strategic partnerships to grow the number of attractions and new features to attract more qualified visitors and buyers.”

Among the new features are “Buyers of the Future,” aimed at top hospitality students; “Knowledge Island,” which includes a presentation on franchises and conversions; and “Universal Accessibility Space,” featuring common areas and housing units based on the international concept of accessibility and in compliance with technical standards.
