In Memoriam: Perfection Equipment’s Sandy Hahn

Sanford “Sandy” Hahn, CEO of Perfection Equipment, died August 25 in Evanston, Ill. He was 78.

Hahn helmed the Gurnee, Ill., maker of beverage and condiment dispensers for more than 47 years. He was a longtime board member of NAFEM, and served as the association’s president in 1996.

He is survived by his wife, Kay; daughters Lisa Reinsdorf, Lauren Hahn and Jennifer Kaplan; son Patrick; and eight grandchildren.  Services have been held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chicago, 30 South Wells, Chicago, Ill., 60606.  Cards or notes to the family can be sent to Perfection Equipment, 4259 Lee Ave., Gurnee, Ill., 60031.
