The Homer Laughlin China Co. has elevated Katie McIlvain to the position of Foodservice and General Marketing Manager. A six-year veteran of HLC, McIlvain takes responsibility for end-user commercial and non-commercial foodservice communications and comprehensive support of the largest dealer community in the professional dinnerware category. HLC comprises Homer Laughlin China, Kenilworth, and Hall China. HLC is based in Newell, W.Va.

Joseph Quinones has taken on the post of Vice President-Sales and Marketing for the U.S. subsidiary of Montreal-based MVP Group. The 20-year industry veteran joins the rep firm after seven years at Fagor Corp. as regional sales manager, and prior to that, v.p.-sales at American Range. He is based in Miami.

Andreas Weishaar has been appointed Senior Vice President-Strategy, Marketing & Human Resources, at Manitowoc Foodservice. Weishaar joins Manitowoc after a decade at AGCO Corp., where he most recently served as v.p./g.m. at Global Green Harvesting. He began his career at Arthur D. Little, working in areas of strategy and organization, performance improvement, and mergers and acquisitions.

MEIKO USA has hired Chuck Odiorne as its newest Product Specialist in the greater Los Angeles area. Odiorne will focus on growing MEIKO’s market share there by establishing relationships with local customers and developing special projects with hospitals and consultants. The warewasher and tray conveyor maker also has added Becky Fetner to its customer service department. Fetner will work with the Nashville, Tenn., firm’s inside sales team, supporting independent sales representatives, dealers, and external sales force.

Nor-Lake Inc. has hired Bob Stevens as Western Regional Sales Manager. He brings a background of more than a dozen years in sales and management to the post. Prior to joining the Hudson, Wis., company, Stevens held territory manager roles at both the YES Group and the Hollander Group.

Unified Brands has hired Kelli McMurtrey as Vice President-Human Resources. Her 15-year human resources career has included leadership roles with Fortune 1000 companies. Conyers, Ga.-based Unified Brands offers the Groen, Randell, Avtec, A la Cart, and Power Soak product lines.

Jamba Juice has tapped Carrabba’s Italian Grill president David Pace as its new CEO; former P.F. Chang’s China Bistro CEO Richard Federico is the Emeryville, Calif., chain’s new chairman. Pace joins the 884-unit smoothie chain from Bloomin’ Brands, where he served as executive v.p. and president of Carrabba’s since 2014. He had previously held positions with Starbucks Corp., Pepsico and Yum! Brands.

Sonic Corp. has promoted chief marketing officer Todd Smith to President, succeeding J. Clifford Hudson, who remains Sonic chairman and CEO. Smith will continue as CMO, as well as oversee integration of technology into the Oklahoma City-based chain’s 3,500 drive-in restaurants. John Budd has added the title of Executive V.P. to his duties as chief development and strategy officer. Budd also assumes leadership for technology support.

Sunny Street Café has hired Mike Minniear as Director of Operations for the Columbus, Ohio, chain. Minniear, who spent 23 years at Bob Evans Farms, most recently as director of operations for the 704-unit chain, takes charge of six company-owned restaurants, coordinates new store openings, and oversees systems and standards in the chain’s 11 franchised locations.
