TriMark Adds Adams-Burch

TriMark USA, the country’s largest equipment and supplies dealer, announced June 6 it had acquired Adams-Burch, one of the oldest foodservice equipment and supplies dealers in the country, and the largest E&S distributor serving the Mid-Atlantic States. Adams-Burch, based in Landover, Md., was founded in 1896.

“I am happy to welcome Adams-Burch and each of their 170 employees to the TriMark team,” stated TriMark President/CEO, Jerry Hyman. “This acquisition strengthens TriMark’s position in the Mid-Atlantic by extending our reach into Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.”

“This is a very exciting day for our company, our employees and our customers,” says Adams-Burch CEO Dan Blaylock. “I am thrilled to be joining the TriMark family and look forward to beginning the next chapter in our company’s history.”

Blaylock and Adams-Burch President Kevin McClamroch will continue to serve in their current capacities with TriMark Adams-Burch.

TriMark USA reported $1.16 billion in sales in 2015; FER estimates $29 million in sales for Adams-Burch last year.
