FER PRESENTS INDUSTRY SERVICE AWARDS

Foodservice Equipment Reports has announced the winners of its annual Industry Service Awards. The annual awards, presented since 2005, honor those who have made substantial, sustained contributions not just to their own firms and professional associations, but to the E&S industry as a whole. They are presented to a standout in each segment of the foodservice equipment industry: operator, dealer, consultant, manufacturer’s rep, and service agent. The magazine receives input from the relevant associations for help in selecting the recipients.

This year Industry Service Awards go to:

·        Dealer: Jim Hanson, Best Restaurant Equipment & Design

·        Operator: Rick McCaffrey, Brinker Int’l.

·        Consultant: Edmeston Bernard, Cini-Little

·        Manufacturer’s Rep: Alan Squier, Squier Associates

·        Service Agent: Bruce Hodge, General Parts

The awards are typically presented during an appropriate industry meeting. Bernard received his award last March in Minneapolis during FCSI’s annual conference. Hodge was honored in Chicago at CFESA’s conference at NRA in May. Squier was presented with his award in September during the MAFSI annual conference in San Antonio. Hanson received his Industry Service Award at a FEDA board retreat in Chicago Oct. 11.
