NAFEM ’11 SHOW NOTES

With The NAFEM Show just three months away, Feb 10-12 in Orlando, Fla., we want to update you on what is happening not only in the exhibit halls but on the days leading up to the show.

  • CFSP Overview & Exams: An overview of the Certified Foodservice Professional Program is offered Wednesday, Feb. 9. The exam can be taken on either Thursday, Feb. 10 or Friday, Feb.11. More details and registration information is at the NAFEM website.
  • AutoQuotes 360 Basic and Advanced Training Classes on Feb. 9 at the Hilton Orlando. Cost is $129 for one course or $199 for both courses. (Prices increase by $20 two weeks prior) Register at the MAFSI website. A laptop is required for both classes.

The browser-based AutoQuotes 360 is the latest update in the fullfeatured electronic database, catalog and quotation system for the foodservice E&S industry. Basic AutoQuotes 360 (8:30 a.m.-Noon) includes an overview of the system, how-to’s on catalog searches, creating and maintaining projects, and sample scenarios.

Advanced AutoQuotes 360 (1 p.m.-4:30 p.m.) builds on basics while delving deeper into management, features and functionality to enrich and heighten the AutoQuotes experience. An interactive Q&A period will be included.
