DISTRIBUTORS GET IFMA HONORS

Two broadliners and one executive were honored Nov. 9 by the International Foodservice Manufacturers Association as winners of the group’s fourth annual distributor awards. IFMA presented the awards at its Presidents Conference in Indian Wells, Calif.

IFMA presented its Excellence in Distribution Award to Food Services of America. It honored the Scottsdale, Ariz., company for its “leading-edge technology, strong core leadership and uncommon commitment to customers and employees.” Holtsville, N.Y.-based J. Kings Food Service Professionals received the Distributor Sales & Marketing Performance Award, which honors a single independent distributor.

John Martin, CEO at Martin Bros. Distributing Co., won the Distinguished Industry Achievement Award. Martin Bros. is located in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
