Hennebaul, Veteran Rep, Passes

Walt Hennebaul, founder of Master-Marketing Sunlow in Atlanta and longtime member and past board member of the Manufacturers’ Agents Association for the Foodservice Industry, passed in December after a yearlong battle with cancer. He was 70.

In addition to decades of work in the foodservice industry, Hennebaul dedicated his life to youth wrestling in memory of his younger brother, who was left a quadriplegic after a high school wrestling accident. He was inducted into the Georgia Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame and the YMCA Hall of Fame. The first Walt Hennebaul Open wrestling tournament was held the day of his passing.

Hennebaul is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marianne, two daughters, three sons and 11 grandchildren.
