Vollrath Acquires CDF Industries’ Cleaning Equipment Division

The Vollrath Company has acquired the cleaning equipment division of CDF Industries.

By acquiring the Quakertown, Pa.-based industrial spray and ultrasonic cleaning equipment manufacturer, Vollrath adds to an already extensive portfolio of industrial cleaning solutions provided by its Stoelting Cleaning Equipment division. In May 2012, Vollrath acquired Kiel, Wis.-based Polar Ware Co., including Stoelting and its three primary manufacturing divisions: foodservice, cleaning and process equipment

“Acquiring CDF Industries was a great opportunity to expand our presence in the industrial cleaning markets by adding products that allow us to grow our business in new industries and market applications,” says Vollrath President/CEO Paul Bartelt. “Like Vollrath and Stoelting, CDF Industries has a long-standing reputation for the design and manufacture of industry-best products and outstanding customer service.”

Adam McMurtrie, the owner of CDF Industries, will become part of Stoelting’s selling team.
