In his new post, Abi will manage the Dallas-based induction company’s day-to-day operations including overseeing sales, marketing and product development. He’ll continue in his current role with the other trio of brands. Abi joined Middleby in 2011 in regional sales for Carter-Hoffmann and was promoted to vice president of sales in 2015. He was promoted to president of the three brands in 2018.

“As innovative solutions for delivery continue to be in demand, David will combine his experience from Carter-Hoffmann, a leader in warming innovation with CookTek a top provider of induction solutions. The companies previously shared synergies in the successful development of the PUC Delivery unit, utilizing Carter-Hoffmann warming and CookTek induction delivery bags,” states Tim FitzGerald, CEO of Middleby. “With these companies now under the same leadership, the integration of their technologies will continue and enhance Middleby delivery solutions for our customers.”
