Globe Hires National Accounts Manager

Globe Food Equipment Company announced that it has hired Ben Lee as national accounts manager. He will be responsible for managing the Dayton, Ohio equipment maker’s national account strategy and working with local reps and the distribution channel for existing and targeted chains.

Lee most recently worked with InterMetro for 10 years as manager of strategic accounts – foodservice and grocery, and as a national strategic accounts Manager. He has also held roles as a regional sales manager for Alto-Shaam and director of sales, Southeast U.S. for APW Wyott.

His background also includes over 10 years of engineering and foodservice design experience from such firms as WD Partners and Best Restaurant Equipment and Design.

“We’re very excited to have Ben join our team here at Globe and know he will be able to make an immediate impact”, said Dan Farmer, Globe’s VP of Sales and Marketing. “His deep understanding of multi-unit operations, design and the distribution channel will be valuable in growing Globe’s national account sales.”

Globe, a subsidiary of The Middleby Corporation,  makes mixers and slicers, along with meat choppers, weighing systems, and gas and electric cooking equipment.
