TEXAS-BASED MISSION OPENS FOURTH STORE

Mission Restaurant Supply recently opened its fourth retail store in its home state of Texas. The new showroom in McAllen provides the dealership a presence in the Rio Grande Valley. The two-day grand opening celebration included discounts on smallwares and equipment purchases.

In addition to its San Antonio headquarters and the new McAllen store, Mission also has outposts in Austin and Corpus Christi. Owners A.J. (Jack) Lewis III and Liza Lewis founded the dealership, then known as Mission Ice Equipment Co., in 1988. The name was changed in 2001 to better represent its broader focus on foodservice equipment and supplies.
