Somat/Stero Launches TragenFlex

Somat Waste Reduction Technology and Stero Warewashing Systems have inked an exclusive supply source agreement with Aerowerks to help launch a new line of TragenFlex conveyors and handlers.

The agreement with Aerowerks boosts the companies’ goal of providing complete dishroom and waste-management solutions. Pete Michailo, who spearheaded the effort for Somat/Stero, said securing the agreement with Aerowerks to produce the equipment was critical. “Aerowerks is the leading supplier of conveyors/dish- handling systems in North America. They not only represent the highest sales volume, but are one of the industries’ few suppliers that do everything in-house from cradle to grave—design, all fabrication, controls, assembly, field service, sales and individual sales design assistance. These qualities,” he added, “are consistent with Somat/Stero companies and were essential for us in finding a supplier to round out our dishroom offerings.”

Somat and Stero are divisions of Illinois Tool Works Food Equipment Group.
