In late March, 36 of Rational USA’s service partner companies sent staff to the company’s Service Partner Symposium, where they experienced the new Culinary Experience Center and Training Center in Rolling Meadows, Ill. “Important issues, like maximizing service support for different market segments, the Rational Certified Installation Program and the implementation of Rational’s Customer Care Center, built the basis of discussion and generated the ultimate goal between all companies present at this event: customer satisfaction in every respect,” said Gene Doerr, service director at Rational USA.
Among the symposium’s highlights was recognition of Rational’s top three service partners for 2013. The awards honored companies that demonstrated their understanding of the importance of training their service team, maintaining appropriate spare-parts inventory and developing efficiencies that were focused on maximizing customer benefits. The winning companies were: Commercial Appliance Service (first place), Pine Tree Food Equipment (second place) and Whaley Foodservice (third place).
