It’s The Final Countdown Until Hotelex Chengdu 2014

Leading U.S. and European equipment manufacturers will be in China next month exhibiting at HOTELEX Chengdu 2014. The show, Aug. 8-10 at Chengdu Century City Int’l. Convention and Exhibition Center, provides a one-stop ordering and information platform for hospitality and food industry professionals in seven themed sectors: Catering Equipment & Supply, Bakery, Tableware, Textile, Appliance & Amenities, IT & Security and Fitness & Leisure.

The show’s newer bakery and ice-cream equipment areas are growing at a fast pace as the Chinese market increasingly welcomes Western products; more than double the 10,000 visitors who previously canvassed those equipment exhibits are expected at this edition.

Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province, is considered the gourmet capital of western China. The city’s catering and foodservice industries report an annual sales increase of nearly 20%, and its hotel industry has boomed, with 72 five-star hotels now open.
