FER Is Best In Class, Wins Top National Editorial Award

FER once again was a winner at the Azbee Awards, the journalism honors presented annually by the American Society of Business Publications Editors. Not only did the magazine win four regional awards, Publisher/Research Editor Robin Ashton and Senior Contributing Editor Mike Sherer took home the national Gold award in the Special Section editorial category for the January 2014 issue’s Industry Forecast. The duo’s research and writing beat out every other entry across the country.

The magazine also took home some solid wins in the Upper Midwest regional awards: one Gold for the forecast, which qualified the article for the national award, and three Silvers:

From the Trade Association Business Publications Int’l., FER also won an honorable mention Tabbie Award in the Department category for the magazine’s monthly Back Story department. The 2015 Tabbie Awards featured more than 400 entries, with nominations from the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates and South Africa.
