Three Earn New Posts At Emerson

Three appointments have been announced in Emerson’s Commercial Solutions Group. Drew Carmichael has been named Director-Product Planning & Innovation; he joins the Racine, Wis., company from Johnson Controls, where he was Director-Enterprise Innovation. At Emerson, he will manage all commercial product and research efforts, and be responsible for new product introductions/market entry strategies based on market dynamics and end-user customer needs.

David Krems has promoted to General Manager, succeeding Matt Whitener, who was promoted to V.P.-InSinkErator Global Water Products. Krems joined InSinkErator in 2013 as manager-Business Development at Grind2Energy and was later promoted to director of sales and marketing. Prior to InSinkErator, Krems was a strategic planner at Emerson Corporate in St. Louis. Erica Vranak has been appointed Senior Marketing Manager, responsible for all of the Commercial Solution Group’s marketing strategies and brand communications across both Foodservice and Grind2Energy product offerings. She joined InSinkErator in 2013 as marketing manager-Foodservice Products.
