Industry Moves and Promotions:

Master-Bilt/Standex has added Integra Marketing to its sales team as its representative in the Southern California and Las Vegas areas. The Norwalk, Calif., rep firm has more than 80 years of combined industry experience; its show room and test kitchen make it a one-stop shop for customers interested in testing and purchasing foodservice equipment.

Pete Michailo, a veteran of the warewashing industry with sales stints at Champion and Stero/Somat, has joined the MEIKO team. As the LaVergne, Tenn., company’s new Manager of Project Sales, Michailo will focus on directing and leading MEIKO’s product specialists. He is based in North Carolina.

Zink Foodservice is celebrating its 40th year in business this year, a milestone for the Midwestern rep firm. The company was founded in 1977 in Columbus, Ohio, as Finn-Zink Associates by Skip Zink and Frank Finn. It had its “big break” when it added Ardco’s line of refrigerated glass doors to its portfolio, which at that time also included Kolpak, a startup walk-in cooler company. An expanded portfolio, territory growth and infrastructure expansion followed. In 1991, Skip Zink became the sole owner and renamed the company Zink Marketing. A decade later Jim Zink and Mike McGuire purchased the company, and lead the company today as managing partners. “2017 marks four decades of representing an outstanding portfolio of premier brands; it is a privilege that we do not take lightly,” says Jim Zink. “We will continue to look for innovative ways to serve our manufacturers and customers.”
