Toledo, Ohio-born Marco’s Pizza is branching out, making plans for its first couple units in Philadelphia, to be operated by franchisee Jack Praizner.

Praizner, a resident of Folsom, Penn., boasts two decades of pizza expertise, starting his career as a Domino’s employee. He then went on to become a franchisee, owning and operating 12 Domino’s locations before selling them in 2021.

Now, he’s set to help Marco’s break into a new region, with units planned for Bethlehem (opening in Q3 of this year), followed by Whitehall in Q4 2025.

“Philadelphia is ready for Marco’s—it’s a blank canvas, and I see incredible potential here,” says Praizner. “I’m excited to bring Marco’s to this community and mentor the next generation of franchisees.”

Marco’s Pizza currently has over 1,200 stores in 35 states, plus locations in Puerto Rico, the Bahamas and Mexico.
