Middleby President to Lead Dealer Strategy

Middleby Group announced that company president, John Perruccio, has expanded his responsibilities to encompass managing the Middleby buying group and dealer strategy.

“John has been directing buying group and dealer initiatives for the past year and has made substantial progress coordinating efforts across all Middleby brands,” the company said in a a statement on their web site. “In his new role as Middleby buying group and dealer liaison he will continue to build upon this momentum and ensure the highest level of coordination and communication with Middleby dealer partners and buying groups.”

Middleby CEO Tim FitzGerald said, “John’s leadership will allow us to cultivate new opportunities including expanding customer segments and introducing new product with our entire portfolio of highly-respected commercial brands. We are now well-positioned to best support our valued dealer partners and grow sales.”

Perruccio will continue in his current position as group president, overseeing Southbend and the Crown steam family which includes the brands Crown, Firex and Market Forge, the company said. Steam equipment is a major initiative and growth opportunity for it, the company said.
