2 Buying Groups Merge To Form Alignity Group

PRIDE Centric Resources and the National Association of Food Equipment Dealers have merged to form Alignity Group.

Named to reflect “alignment” and “unity,” the new group aims to deliver enhanced value, innovation and market leadership to PCR and NAFED’s combined shareholders and buying group brands.

Alignity Group represents a collective 100 years of industry presence and more than 150 dealer shareholders with combined annual sales exceeding $2 billion.

“By combining our resources, talent, and reach with Alignity Group, we’re unlocking new opportunities for growth, innovation, and long-term value creation while maintaining the brands and strengths of PCR and NAFED,” says Greg Ebel, president and CEO of PCR, in the release. “Our members will benefit from greater scale, and expanded access to services and tools that help them thrive in a rapidly evolving marketplace.”

Teresa Brown, COO of NAFED, says, “Together, we’re creating Alignity Group to be a more capable and competitive organization, with enhanced tools, broader expertise, and greater agility to meet the evolving needs of our members. This combination positions us to drive even greater impact and growth in the years ahead.”

Management Update
The leadership team will include representatives from PCR and NAFED. Greg Ebel will serve as president and CEO of Alignity Group; Teresa Brown, vice president finance; Cara Schlarb, vice president vendor strategy; and Lee Zabel, vice president vendor support.
