Noodles & Company, which makes its base in Broomfield, Colo., is making its first forays into the Northeast. Through a partnership Mascott Corp., owner and operator of six restaurant brands in the region, Noodles will open its very first restaurant in the greater New York metro area. The free-standing unit in East Brunswick, N.J., will open early next year.
As part of its multi-phased development plans, the chain opened a unit in Hartford, Conn., earlier this month. It plans to open dozens of company-owned and franchise locations throughout the New York metro and New England areas in the next several years. Noodles, which has tripled in size in the last seven years, will have approximately 330 units by the end of the year.
Mascott is also a franchisee of Carvel Ice Cream, Cinnabon World Famous Cinnamon Rolls, Seattle’s Best Coffee and Smashburger.
