Two manufacturers’ rep firms—4 Star Reps and RC Hospitality—have merged.

Led by Erica Monaghan since 2021, 4 Star Reps provides services throughout MAFSI Region 4 with a focus on foodservice equipment. RC Hospitality, founded by Robin Carmeans in 2012, specializes in tabletop, buffet displays, smallwares, food safety solutions, chef apparel and textiles.

“This change for 4 Star Reps and RC Hospitality is more than a simple acquisition; it is a powerful alliance that will deliver an enhanced level of support, expertise, and product choice for manufacturers and customers alike,” a December 1 release details. “RC Hospitality’s line card of premier non-food products will now join 4 Star Reps’ robust equipment portfolio, providing customers with a comprehensive suite of solutions under one trusted organization.”

As part of the acquisition, RC Hospitality will transition fully under the 4 Star Reps brand, and Carmeans will take the role of director, hospitality division at 4 Star Reps. She also will train two new outside sales associates, Meghan Callahan and Molly Palmer, to support the division’s growth.

In other news, 4 Star Reps shared it will soon open a second, state-of-the-art test kitchen and product showroom in the Philadelphia area.
