A New Generation Takes The Reins At Curtis

The Wilbur Curtis Co., the family-owned maker of commercial coffee and tea brewing systems, has promoted two key executives. Kevin Curtis is the Montebello, Calif., firm’s new president and CEO; his brother, Michael Curtis, is the newly named executive v.p.

The announcement was made by company chairman Bob Curtis. “Kevin has proven himself an invaluable asset to our business. He brings the right combination of leadership, passion, vision and family values to ensure the long-term success of our company. I am proud to name him as my successor.”

Kevin Curtis has headed the company’s sales, marketing and product development areas since joining the company in 1986. In his new office, he will be charged with product innovation, growing sales and setting strategic goals. Michael Curtis, who joined the company in 1993, has been key in guiding the firm’s operations and administration.
