Asprooth Joins Antunes Business Development Team

Ted Asprooth recently joined Antunes as New Business Development Manager, responsible for the custom foodservice equipment manufacturer’s growth in the convenience store market. “Ted is an industry veteran who understands the trends, challenges and needs of today’s convenience store chains,” says Tom Krisch, executive v.p.-sales and marketing at the Carol Stream, Ill., company, which specializes in countertop cooking and water filtration solutions. “His knowledge and experience are assets to our team as we seek to grow our presence in this segment of the foodservice industry.”

Asprooth has more than 30 years of c-store industry experience, including launching a publication for c-store retailers, suppliers and distributors and serving as its publisher for 18 years. He also helped create the annual FARE Conference, which provides operators and retailers from different channels the opportunity to connect and share ideas.

“Antunes is a hidden gem in the convenience store channel,” he says, “and I am excited to explore opportunities to connect operators in this space with Antunes’ custom solutions.”
