Winholt Hires New Foodservice Sales & National Accounts Chief

Winholt Equipment Group has appointed Michael Carlson as its new Director of Foodservice Sales & National Accounts.

Carlson will be responsible for the Woodbury, N.Y., company’s national sales initiatives as he leads Winholt’s foodservice segment; Kevin Yates, V.P.-Sales, will lead the retail/supermarket and material handling business segments. Both report to Dominick Scarfogliero, President & CEO of the 72-year-old company.

A veteran of more than 15 years in sales, Carlson was most recently with Vitamix Corp. as regional sales manager; he also served at N. Wasserstrom & Sons as client services manager/supervisor.
