Ace Mart Puts Its Foot Down In Hometown

Already one of the largest E&S dealers in the United States, Ace Mart Restaurant Supply has expanded its footprint in its home state of Texas.

The San Antonio dealer has invested in a brand new warehouse, with 215,000 sq. ft. of new warehouse space, 54 dock doors, 32’ high ceilings, a state-of-the-art picking module, and new warehouse technology.

“More space in our new warehouse has so many advantages, all of which will help Ace Mart to ship products faster, more efficiently and allow for future growth,” says company President Paul Gustafson.

The new facility, to be staffed by 60 employees, will have more than 10,000 pallet locations, according to Distribution Manager Jeff Carpenter. “The expanded racking system allows for improved storage capabilities, taking better advantage of the headspace of the warehouse, and increasing the amount of finished products that can be stored.”

Ace Mart, which reported $124.6 million in sales in 2017, is ranked 14^th on FER’s list of Top Dealers.
