Walt Hennebaul, a long-time member and past board member of the Manufacturers’ Agents Association for the Foodservice Industry, passed away Dec. 20 after a yearlong battle with cancer. He was 70. Hennebaul was a founder of Master-Marketing Sunlow in Atlanta. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marianne; daughters Patty and Terri; sons Bud, Jerry and Rick; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to his decades of work in the foodservice industry, Hennebaul dedicated his life to youth wrestling in memory of his younger brother, Freddy, who was injured in a high school wrestling accident and remained a quadriplegic for 16 years before passing away. He was inducted into the Georgia Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame and the YMCA Hall of Fame. The first tournament of the Walt Hennebaul Open wrestling tournament was held on the day of his passing. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Walt Hennebaul’s name to Mountain View Wrestling at
