Colorado Eyes Energy Efficiency Bill

NAFEM is monitoring news from Colorado where the state’s General Assembly is considering a bill specifying that commercial dishwashers, fryers, hot food holding cabinets and steam cookers, along with a variety of other devices, must meet or exceed U.S. Department of Energy ENERGY STAR and/or WaterSense requirements to be sold in the state after Jan. 1, 2021.
