Blodgett’s New Combi Sales VP Brings Culinary Chops


April Shaw brings more than a decade of combi sales and cooking experience to her new role as vice president, combi sales for Blodgett/Middleby. In this position, Shaw will lead the sales, marketing and strategic initiatives of Blodgett Combi.

A CIA graduate, Shaw will utilize her expertise as both chef and product expert to work with customers on a variety of combi applications, from quick service to fine dining, Middleby Group President Steve Spittle said in the annoucement. “April is well-known and highly-respected in our industry and will be a tremendous asset to Blodgett Combi as the market continues to grow quickly.”

Previously, Shaw was with Lainox Combi and Belshaw Adamatic, both part of the Ali Group, where she led North American combi and bakery oven sales for the past two years. Before that, she was a rep agent with CR Peterson & Associates, which specializes in the sales and marketing of foodservice equipment (including multiple Middleby brands), and she served as a regional sales manager and chef for six years with RATIONAL.
