Alabama-Based Professional Takes Seat as SNA President

She will serve the nonprofit’s 50,000 members and represent school nutrition professionals nationwide.

The School Nutrition Association has named Stephanie Dillard, child nutrition director for Enterprise City Schools in Alabama, as its 2025-2026 president.

Dillard has led school meal programs for nearly 30 years, with experience in managing program finances and staffing, addressing operational challenges and promoting healthy eating habits for students.

She has been an SNA member since 2006, previously serving as secretary/treasurer and at-large director. She also has served on SNA’s Public Policy and Legislation, Nutrition and Research, and Finance committees and chaired the Resolutions and Bylaws Committee.

She’s held numerous positions for the Alabama School Nutrition Association, including president. In 2013-2014, she was named Alabama SNA Director of the Year.

Dillard also served as a School Nutrition Foundation state ambassador and treasurer of the SNF Board.

Enterprise City Schools, where she currently oversees foodservice operations, comprises 6,600 students across nine schools. Last school year, her 55-member team served over 681,000 lunches and 336,000 breakfasts. The school prides itself on offering locally sourced foods like Alabama shrimp and satsumas, plus scratch-made regional items like Creole chicken and sausage, among others.

Prior to Enterprise City Schools, Dillard served as School Nutrition Director for Geneva County Schools (2015-2020) and Andalusia City Schools (1997-2015) in Alabama. Dillard earned her master’s in business management from Faulkner University and a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and food science from Auburn University.
