Ali Group has acquired JIPA, a manufacturer of advanced electrical multifunctional devices for commercial kitchens. One of its products, for example, can perform the following cooking functions: pressure cooking, frying, braising, grilling and sous vide.

Filippo Berti, chairman and chief executive officer of Ali Group, says JIPA’s expertise will broaden Ali Group’s capabilities and add “new dimensions” to how it serves the market. “Their highly respected brand complements our existing portfolio and expands Ali Group’s global reach,” he adds.

Terms of the transaction, which was announced on Jan. 22, were not disclosed.
