Angry Chickz Names Development, Operations VPs

The Nashville hot chicken brand has built out its leadership team to support its U.S. expansion.

Angry Chickz aims to grow across the U.S. and has made several appointments to support the plan. The Southern California-born Nashville hot chicken brand has hired Christopher Wadleigh as vice president of development and promoted Will Lopez to vice president of operations.

Wadleigh has spent 15 years in leadership roles at brands such as Cotti Foods (Taco Bell and Wendy’s), Urban Plates and Habit Burger & Grill. He has extensive expertise in real estate, development, construction, design and leasing, as well as a strong track record in driving growth and enhancing operational efficiency. Lopez has served as director of operations since 2023, and has played a key part in Angry Chickz’s growth trajectory.

As part of the leadership team buildout, Angry Chickz also added Tonya McCoy as vice president of marketing.

Angry Chickz has locations in California, Nevada and Arizona and plans to soon expand to Texas and other states across the U.S.
