BBC Distributing Acquires Bushong Restaurant Equipment

Grand Rapids, Mich.-based BBC Distributing has acquired fellow commercial foodservice equipment and supplies dealership Bushong Restaurant Equipment.

Founded in 1985 by Janet and Dan Bushong and their two children, Bushong Restaurant Equipment has locations in Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio, along with a 57,000-sq.-ft. warehouse. The dealership also provides design services for restaurants and institutional kitchens.

“We are excited about the opportunity to carry on the legacy that Dan and his team have developed while providing additional offerings and services to the loyal customers in the Dayton and Cincinnati markets,” says BBC Distributing Owner Ed Stasiak in a press release.

The acquisition comes as part of BBC Distributing’s expansion plans and will further increase Bushong’s presence in the Greater Cincinnati region. The move marks BBC’s second acquisition in the last five years. The dealership acquired Twin Lake, Mich.-based Expar in November 2018.

BBC Distributing was founded in 1974 and has grown to encompass three distribution centers throughout the state.
