Bellagreen Opens Carryout and Delivery-Only Prototype
The pandemic-fueled trend of more customers opting to consume their food and beverages off-premise has led to some restaurants changing their models to cater to that growing base.
Enter Bellagreen. The American bistro is one of the latest brands embracing the trend as it celebrates the opening of its new carryout and delivery-only prototype. Located in Houston, it aims to provide a more seamless and faster experience for off-premise customers.
“We couldn’t be more excited to introduce our all-new prototype to the Houston community,” says CEO Jason Morgan in a press release. “Houston is our home market, and we can’t wait to give locals a more convenient way to enjoy their favorite chef-inspired Bellagreen menu items, whether they’re on the go, getting lunch delivered to the office or enjoying a meal in the comfort of their own homes.”
The brand ramped up both its digital platform and delivery options ahead of the opening of the limited-footprint model.
In July, Bellagreen launched an app and loyalty program, allowing guests to order ahead and get delivery. Customers also will be able to order delivery straight from the brand. Last year, Bellagreen launched an internal delivery system that will direct deliver orders during peak lunch and dinner hours, saving them an estimated 25% and knocking 15 minutes or more off the delivery time compared to third-party delivery apps, according to the brand.
With a significant focus on digital sales, the new location will rely heavily on orders placed through the app, through Bellagreen’s website and through third-party delivery apps.
The new prototype marks the brand’s sixth restaurant in Houston and eighth in Texas.
