Broken Yolk Cafe, based in San Diego, has signed a deal that will bring its first couple of locations to Indiana, the farthest east it has reached. Franchisee Marc Clapper, who also operates several Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, will open two locations in Lafayette. The first unit will open this fall.

“Broken Yolk Cafe brings an elevated dining experience to breakfast and brunch that the Lafayette community has been without,” Clapper says in the release.

Broken Yolk Cafe has 42 locations. Indiana marks the sixth state it operates in. In recent years, it has added Idaho, Nevada, Arizona and Texas to its lineup.
