Buffet Brand Introduces New Fast-Casual
Comfort foods meet added convenience in the reimagined concept, set to get its start in the brand’s home state.

This April, Golden Corral is set to open a new fast-casual concept, coined Golden Corral Favorites.
The concept will take over a 4,200-square-foot space in Southern Pines, N.C., that currently houses Homeward Kitchen—Golden Corral’s first iteration of a fast-casual. That unit was set to close on the evening of Feb. 24.
The Golden Corral Favorites menu will consist of “signature guest favorites,” available in a streamlined, convenience-geared format. Dine in and drive-thru options, plus digital ordering, will be available.
“Golden Corral has always been about delivering an unmatched variety of high-quality food at an incredible value, and through the rebranding of this concept, we’re staying laser-focused on what we do best,” says CEO Lance Trenary in a press release. “We’ve learned just how much our guests love the Golden Corral brand and want the wholesome food that we serve, so we’re bringing those favorites to a fast-casual setting. This new concept leverages the brand equity in the Golden Corral name and blends the best of both worlds—offering our signature comfort foods they crave with the convenience today’s consumers expect.”
